Letter from the Chapter
Welcome to Sigma Kappa at Penn State! The Theta Psi chapter of Sigma Kappa is one of 18 sororities in the Panhellenic community. With a student body around 40,000 people, the Penn State undergraduate population can be overwhelming. However, Greek life creates a smaller, closer community for students and promotes a well-rounded college experience.
Members of Sigma Kappa participate in a wide rage of activities. From our sisterhood events and scholarship awards to our philanthropies and social activities, we build relationships that last a lifetime. Sigma Kappa membership extends beyond Happy Valley and provides a network to collegiate and alumni chapters throughout the country.
Being a member of Sigma Kappa also builds connections within the Penn State Greek system. Major events in the Greek community include Homecoming, Greek Sing, THON and Greek Week. The sisters of Sigma Kappa are proud to be part of the 6,000 members in the Greek community at Penn State.
We invite you to learn more about our sorority during formal recruitment in the spring. We are so excited to meet you and share our Sigma Kappa and Penn State pride!
